A Simple Six: Weekend Snippets

Friday hair cut for London at the Happy Hair Boutique on our way home from school.

Finds and Designs solo ride on Saturday, looking for a dress for the wedding this week. Bike locked up to the tree.

Tried to get cash on my way home, but the ATM was off line.

Yard work wrapped up our Saturday.

This was the beast I wrestled today. The boys' room was out of control, but fear not, souls will get lost no longer. It is tidy once more.

Brent did a solo grocery run with his new pannier bags. He took them in to the store to make sure he didn't over buy.

Cinched up tight and latched on.

About 50lbs.

View Larger Map This is a convoluted map to show our route today, we didn't go in quite as many circles, but close. We certainly biked up a lot of one way streets in the wrong direction, but avoided Hal Greer by doing so.

After grocery shopping, we all headed out to the community gardens to help out, but no one was there. Caught this picture over the ball fields heading back from the Barnett Center.

Brick and tree lined one way, in the right direction.

Brent begged for a vanilla malt, so we all rolled into the Frostop. The camera timer can be handy.

This man fashioned a gas motor kit to his cruiser. He said he is using this as his mode of commuting and hopes to keep it up through winter.

Those bilious clouds let forth some rain while we were enjoying dessert before dinner.

The children begged to go to the park, the rain passed, so hey, why not? Ritter was wrapping up the annual PATH Fit Fest. We saw dozens of folks we knew. Many of them and their children ran in the events.
